Celebrating Easter

Anthony had so much fun with the Easter egg hunts at the church and then at Granny Hanks' house. The weather was great! We have enjoyed celebrating our risen Savior today! Because Jesus lives we can enjoy today and have hope for tomorrow!

Ethan John Sadler Has Arrived!

Ethan John Sadler is finally here! He looks a lot like Addison when she was a baby except Ethan has blue/grey eyes.

Amanda, Paul, Addison, and Ethan are all doing great! We are very proud grandparents! Anthony was not too sure about the baby. He thought Daddy and Mommy may just take him home with us!

to tow behind the bus! We really like it!

Chili Cook Off - Award Winning!

Thomas entered the "Chili Cook Off" at the Heritage Church in Virginia and won 2nd place. Pastor Mike Sweeney won 1st place!  It was a lot of fun with really good chili. There was a talent show too. Thomas flew his airplane while an i-worship video played in the background. It was great!

Happy Anniversary!

We had a wonderful 5th anniversary! We started a tradition on our anniversary to celebrate the day at a spa. It was great! After the spa, we had a wonderful dinner at Carrabba's. Yummy! Camp GG (Granny Debbie and Granny Hanks) took good care of Anthony. We spent the night in Roanoke.

Five years ago we wrote our marriage vows based on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." It is amazing how wonderful marriage can be when you allow God's love to flow through you. God is love.

Will the Snow Ever End?

We had more snow in Virginia today!

Snow Sleigh Riding

 It has snowed so much this month that the snow has stuck around.

Even though it was in the 50-60s today there was plenty of snow.

Thomas and Anthony had a blast taking rides down the hill.

The little blue sleigh still has "Heather S." on the front.

It belonged to Anthony's momma when she was his age.

Back to Snow in Virginia - Burrrrrr!

It had already snowed 12-14" in Virginia a few days before. The roads had just been cleared. We were expecting another 10-12" on Friday. As soon as we left Sea World, Thomas drove all night and through the day on Thursday to get back home. As soon as we got home, the snow began again. We got 10 inches then 6 more inches....we soon lost count how much it really snowed. It snowed for over week.

The snow flakes were HUGE! We had a shock going from the 70s in Florida to 6-7 degrees in Virginia.

Sea World - Orlando

Anthony had a great time celebrating his 2nd birthday at Sea World!

At 36" Anthony was just tall enough to get on the rides.

His head barely fit over the harness. He love it! He said, "I fly! I fly!"
