More Joe Nall - Woodruff, SC

Today Anthony and Mommy went to Great Clips for Anthony to get a haircut. The hair dresser let him squirt all the water out of her spray bottle so it was more like a water park than a hair salon! He got a Super Star sticker for being so good.

Back at Joe Nall the campers were really rolling in for the weekend.

Fun with Daddy

Hot dogs are the best! Anthony ate the whole thing!At the noon day demo, the full scale airplanes displayed a spectacular show!

Joe Nall (Triple Tree) mascot! Kitty kept the hanger guests entertained.

"My dad's the BEST! He bought me an ice cream, sugar cone and all!" "Just my size! I know this thing will fly! I've seen Daddy make it go!"

There was a challenge to see how many of the same type airplanes could fly at once. There were hundreds. Check out the video below!

Annual Joe Nall 2009 in Woodruff, SC - The Triple Tree Aerodrome

For the past several years, we have made it an annual tradition to attend the Joe Nall event. This year had over 800 pilots registered to fly, along with their families and friends. We were there all week, May 11-16, 2009, in our RV.

Anthony had his plane ready to fly. We joined our friends Joe and Mary. Joe's shirt said it all, "Wanted: More Time To Fly!"

Anthony picked his mommy a dandelion flower to celebrate her day.

Anthony picked out a cute Mother's Day card that said, "Here's a little Mother's Day dance created in your honor...It's called the Mom-Bo!" For several weeks now he has been doing this adorable dance as we sing, "Happy pants dance, happy pants dance, I am doing the happy pants dance...".

The Perfect Pet

Paw Paw Bill bought Anthony the perfect pet...a hamster with batteries that doesn't have to be fed or cage cleaned! Anthony loved it!
We are on our way back to South Carolina. Good thing we brought the box truck with a lift gate! We are traveling with everything but the kitchen sink!

Mommy's Rocker

When Heather was Anthony's age, she received a little musical rocker. The rocker is now at Grandma Hanks' house. Anthony now loves sitting in his mommy's rocker!

Strawberry and Tea Time...What was in that little cup? Anthony had us all laughing as he ran around the house, showing us his belly button!

Visit with the Greats!

Anthony visited with his Great Grandma Hanks and Great-Great Aunt Marie in Virginia. It's always a treat to eat Grandma Hanks' green beans and strawberries for dessert! Ummmmm! Good!
Great-Great Aunt Marie was glad to see us and we were glad to be able to visit with her. The birds and balloon was a big hit with Anthony.
Back to Great Grandma Hanks' house! We went had a special dinner at Shoney's and enjoyed play time in the yard. It's always fun to visit with Grammy!
