Water hobbies (boats and airplanes with floats) are a highlight of Joe Nall. Our good friends, Primo, Pedro, Jacob, and Lucy, had their tent set up by the lake.
Once the sun disappeared behind the horizon, the night flying began. Some of the vendors saw Thomas flying earlier in the evening (pictured above) and tracked him down to give him free lights for his float plane just to demo the lights. They liked his flight before. He hovers really well and has a nice flight pattern...in other words...a real show off!
Noon time demos include shows with jets, large scale model airplanes, and the full scale pilots flying in the real deal full scale airplanes. It's always exciting to observe such talent and bravery!

"R/C Wives We Live So They Can Fly" 
Feeding the masses at the Friday night BBQ...The volunteers at Joe Nall do a terrific job serving hundreds of people in a matter of minutes (about 30 minutes). The volunteers and tables are well organized to get the people through quickly. The food and fellowship with friends were both great!
