Anthony - Seven Months

Anthony is seven months old this weekend. He is growing up so fast, learning something new every day. He ate mash potatoes in a big boy high chair on Friday at Long Horn. Anthony is sitting up well and likes to wrestle with his daddy. Anthony has the "Da Da" down really good and loves to call for his daddy. He, on occasion, does say "Ba Ba" and "Ma Ma".

Harris Family - RV Motor Home

We did it! We bought a RV motor home - 1990 Class A, Southwind by Fleetwood. We are looking forward to our first trip at the end of the month when we go to Triple Tree in Woodruff, SC for an IMAC (International Miniature Aircraft Competition) event.

Visit in Pulaski, VA

Anthony really enjoyed spending time with his Paw Paw Bill, Granny Debbie, and Great Grandma Hanks this weekend. He also got to play with his cousins Dylan and Brooke, Aunt Marsha, and Uncle David. Paw Paw Bill made Anthony a train with his name on the front and barn animals on the back. Anthony loves his train!

Milestones - 6 1/2 Months

Anthony is six and 1/2 months old and learning new skills every day. He had his checkup today and all is well. Anthony is 27 1/2 inches long and 18 lbs. Anthony got a treat for being so good at the doctor's office and enduring his immunization shots, a new bouncer seat that hangs from the door frame. He loves it!

Anthony's Milestones This Month...He Started:

• Sitting Up On His Own


• Rolling Over


• Holding His Own Bottle....yeah!
  
• Saying, "Da Da" and "Ba Ba"..."Da Da" was his first word


• Changing Toys from Hand to Hand
  
• Grabbing Toys with His Feet
  
• Saying "Milk" in Sign Language
  
• Eating Solid Foods like we eat from the table...mash potatoes, carrots, ice treats (frozen fruits)! He has been eating the Gerber level 1 foods since 4 mths old and the Gerber level 2 since 6 mths old.

Happy 4th of July!

What a blast, literally, we had in Virginia for the 4th of July! Thomas, Daniel, and Matt gave us one of the best firework shows yet! Anthony slept through the entire show with the loud screamers and booms not even coming close to interrupting his sleep. We really enjoyed being with our family to celebrate our cherished freedom.

The following day, Anthony squirrel watched through the window....so cute. He is beginning to "talk". We could say his first recognizable word this week has been "Da Da", calling for his Daddy! Mommy said she would need to hear "Da Da" a few more times before making it his official first word.
