Last Week At Thousand Trails - Orlando

This is our last week at Thousand Trails - Orlando
Anthony couldn't even wait for the tires to be put
on his chariot before he was jumping in it for a ride.
Anthony loves bike riding, especially
when Daddy does all the work!
These large (3-4') cranes walked aroung the park.
Anthony had a whole bowl full of peeled oranges.
He wanted the peeling.  Orange zest anyone?
Tonight we witnessed the "perigee" moon.
It's the only time in the year the moon appears
14% wider and 30% brighter. It was really bright!

Peace River - Thousand Trails

We are now in Peace River - Thousand Trails in Flordia.
The weather is fantastic...in the 70s!
"What?! Alligators and snakes! We didn't see any snakes,
but we did see some alligators on the bank.
There was a wildlife preserve less than a mile away from our camp. We saw a cougar, fox, raccoons, an ostrich, alligators, turtles, owls, otters, a bear, deer, and other animals that lived at the preserve.

Another Day at Thousand Trails - Orlando

We were taking our bedding to the laundry room today and carrying the trash out. Since there were a lot of things to wash, we were using Anthony's cart. Anthony insisted on riding on top! When we gave him the bag of trash, he said, "Thank you!" He loves to take the trash out!

Anthony pulled his step stool, which is actually his potty that he hasn't wanted to use yet, over to the sink today and washed his hands all by himself after eating some fruit. We are so surprised as he starts to say more and pick up doing things on his own. He had to give his airplane a bath before he was finished.

Hot Air Balloons!

Thousand Trails - Orlando, FL
The weather has really warmed up! Two hot air balloons popped over top of the trees and landed in the park.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

We asked Anthony to pick out a book for us to read before bedtime. He picked out "The Millionaire Next Door" by Thomas Stanley and William Danko. We tried to get him to read another book, but he insisted on "reading" this one.  He flipped through all the pages for a long time and then closed the book and said, "Done!" He wanted to sleep on it or with it.  It's a good goal for a two year to want to be a millionaire! It's never to early to start planning.
