Daddy

Granny Debbie, Anthony's Grandma, has a picture of Jesus on the wall in her house. Anthony looked at the picture today, pointed, and said, "Daddy!"

How sweet it was that Anthony would think a picture of Jesus was his daddy. We are created to live our lives in the image of Christ so when people, especially our families, sees us, they will see the image of Jesus.

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him,and he with me." Jesus, Revelation 3:20 (NIV)

Road Project - The Wildlife

We widened the driveway so the bus could pull in and out.

We saw a turkey up close. There are a bunch of turkeys that walk through the yard every day. There are lots of wildlife in the country! In our first week, we have seen rabbits, turkeys, groundhogs, black snakes (several of them), wild birds, skunks, chipmunks, and squirrels, along with the domesticated animals like horses, cows, cats, and the neighbor's dogs.

Hooked Up to the Power

Thomas rented a ditch digger to install a power cable for the bus. We now have a 50 amp power outlet to run everything we need on the bus.
Granny Debbie and Anthony loves to play ball in the yard!
A new way to play kick ball! Anthony and Paw Paw Bill eat dill pickles! Anthony loves the dill pickles and doesn't care too much for the sweet pickles or bread n' butter pickles.

Our New Home!

Today God blessed us with a new home!
It's a 1984 Silver Eagle Bus that was converted into a motor home in 2002-2003.
The full size refrigerator is super nice! It is almost identical to the one we had in our house. The counter tops are the same ones we had in our home.
There is a queen size bed in the back. The couch also folds out to a full size bed.We are now residents of Virginia again (both of us were born and raised in Virginia). The beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains are the backdrop to our backyard with acres and acres of farmland surrounding us.
As you may know, this past February we sold our house and began to seek God about where and what we should do next. For some time now we have felt lead to begin a full time ministry. With a lot of faith and trust in God, we are well on the path to establishing the ministry. We have been really busy selling the remainder of our things and preparing ourselves to live full time in the bus.

Our ministry name has been reserved, "F2T Ministries, Inc (Free to Talk Ministries, Inc)", and we are in the process of establishing our non-profit status and federal tax ID. We also have purchased two website domains, "F2TNow.com" and "F2TNow.org". The websites will not be developed until we are ready to launch the ministry.

The main focus of the ministry will be in three areas:
- Conference Seminars/Meetings
- Community Outreach
- Disaster Recovery and Response

Our plans over the next 6 months include:
- Heather Completing her Counseling Board Certification
- Establishing the Non-Profit Status for the Ministry
- Set Appointments with Local and Regional Churches/Community Centers

With Thomas' general contractors experience and Heather's focus on counseling, we believe God can work through us to help and restore hope to a multitude of hurting people.

Once the ministry is officially launched, we will post another update. Please keep us in your prayers!
